So, let's just say that the 2nd day of vacation wasn't quite as great as the first day haha. It was POURING. Like torrential, hurricane weather. Charlotte & Henry were cooped up and fighting and misbehaving, of course. Eloise woke up super cranky, and was crying incessantly. Good times, I tell you!
I finally just put Eloise in for her nap at 10:30am, an hour and a half earlier than usual. Jon took Charlotte and Henry to see the Minions movie, and that was about it. Rough day.

We eventually went to Mamie & Poppy's house for a change of scenery, and I took the kids outside the play and swim in the rain...desperate times :)
While outside, I tried French-braiding Charlotte's hair--not too shabby haha
You can tell how bored we were...Charlotte wanted to dress Eloise in Henry's underwear. And I let her. The kids had completely broken my will at this point haha
The only thing that salvaged the day at all was that my mom offered to keep the kids so we could go out to dinner. While we were there, she sent me this cute picture and video of Eloise wearing the dress uncle Joe and Aunt Terry gave to Charlotte when she was exactly Eloise's age!!!
Not sure if she's dancing or jumping or what is going on here :)
Meanwhile, Jon and I were enjoying this beautiful view at Dockers. As Jon said, "I guess this is why they can charge $49 for 3 pieces of grilled shrimp" haha...so unbelievably gorgeous!!!
