Wordless Wednesday

I am not sure why, but I didn't take very many pictures this week…I clearly need to get back on the ball.

We took advantage of the 70 degree weather last week and spent most of our waking moments outside :)

On Thursday night I hosted Bunco for about 12 women…this is just to show that I can actually fit everyone in our small dining room :)

On Saturday, when Jon was marching in the RVC St. Patrick's Day parade with the kids, I headed into NYC for a "boozy brunch" to celebrate Ray's 30th…me & my Jessica :)

Happy Birthday Grandma!

Today is Grandma's 73rd birthday, so we hope she has a very, very happy birthday.  We were lucky enough to celebrate with her on Sunday, but unfortunately I didn't get a single picture!  Here is a picture of Charlotte and Grandma from last summer though :)

Feature Friday :)

Wordless Wednesday :)

It was one of those mornings, as you can tell from her face!!! She insisted on wearing mommy's scarf to school :)

Another beautiful afternoon spent playing outside!  Charlotte is carrying her baby on her shoulders :)

Once again, in a surprising move, Charlotte shared her baby stroller with Henry :)

Jon was away for a few days last week for work, and when he comes home from work trips he usually buys the kids a little gift…well, this time, he bought Charlotte lacrosse sticks!!! And not surprisingly, she is really good haha…I taught her the word "scholarship" right away :)

l expressed my fear to Jon that maybe these sticks were a bit dangerous for the kids to be playing with…how I couldn't leave them alone with them, etc.  But he just assured me that they would be just fine...

…and here is evidence of lacrosse injury #1, less than 12 hours after he gave them to her…not that I want to say "I told you so", but I did :)  I should've also taken a picture of lacrosse injury #2 and #3, and then the big chunk of the ball that Henry bit off.  But I didn't haha

Happy Birthday Uncle Ray!!!

Uncle Ray is 30 today!  I hate that my younger brother is now "in his thirties", haha.  We will be celebrating with Ray this weekend, but in the meantime, Charlotte made this little birthday video for him :)

 

Oh, and happy first day of Spring!  With a day like today, it certainly feels like winter is over and makes me long for summer days at the beach…just gorgeous.  I've even started to bring our winter clothes up to the attic and to bring out spring/summer clothes out...so that probably means that we will have snow by the end of the week :)

Happy (belated) St. Patrick's Day!

The weather on St. Patrick's Day was absolutely gorgeous, and so we decided to spend as much time as possible outside!  We got the kids decked out in their green duds, headed to the park, and then came home and played in the yard…such a gorgeous day.

And then that afternoon we had a party at our neighbor's house, which was especially fun for the kids because there were about 65 kids under 10 there!  Not as fun for mommy because Henry thought he belonged with all of the 10 year old boys, haha.  Here are some pics  :)

Feature Friday

This is amazing to me…Charlotte is SOOOOOO incredibly good at hula hooping, and she definitely doesn't get it from me!  I didn't even teach her to do it!  Jon claims that he won a hula hooping contest on a cruise when he was really young, so maybe she just has the hula hooping gene haha.  Either way, I am impressed :)

Wordless Wednesday :)

Charlotte was pregnant with twins...

…here they are holding hands and sleeping in the same crib.

And then she had their triplet a week later…a miracle of science I tell you :)

Henry is finally giving kisses. At 19 months!  Charlotte didn't give kisses until she was older either, despite the fact that they both receive about 6,000 kisses a day!!!  But, finally, Henry has started to dole out the kisses…and when he does, it is full-on open mouth on the lips complete with a "mwah" sound haha.  Here is Henry going in for the kiss and Charlotte just eating it up :)

Henry was upset…having a temper tantrum about something, of course.  And he always calms down when he has his blankets.  So Charlotte went and got her blanket and laid down right next to him to comfort him…too sweet.

I can't take it…love them so much!

But the sappy stuff only lasted a short time…soon she was happily throwing the blankets over Henry's head :)
