Henry wouldn't eat because he didn't want to miss all of the construction guys coming in/out, so this was his seat for breakfast :)
Our bathroom vanity was delivered last week, and I am pretty sure this box was played with more than any single toy we've ever owned! The kids had an absolute ball (until daddy got sick of having a humongous box on our living room floor and threw it out, haha)!
The box made a good tunnel...
…and a slightly dangerous dance floor, haha. In my defense, it was propped up from below and even though I knew it could potentially fall, they were having SO much fun and I knew they wouldn't fall too far :)
Good times
Mid-dance routine
Henry started to figure out that it might be fun to jump off of the box…don't worry, I didn't let him :)
Henry was taking care of his dog "ruff ruff" like a baby…giving him hugs/kisses, trying to feed him a bottle. Too sweet!
We had electrical work done last week…I had assumed that we wouldn't have power for a short period of time, maybe an hour or so. But when the guys arrived at 8:30am, they told me we would be down until 4pm (it was really until 5:30pm). So that sent me scrambling to figure out how to make the noisemakers work--if you know Charlotte and Henry, you know that lack of a noisemaker would be a big ordeal and send them into a tizzy…thank goodness we had one battery-operated noisemaker, and the guys gave us one extension cord for the other one, so everything worked out. Phew! But I also had no idea what the kids could eat all day with no stove/microwave, and without opening the fridge or freezer…so I went to the grocery store and picked up some cheese and crackers and ham. Charlotte was hysterically laughing, saying "is this a special occasion? What kind of lunch is this?! This must be a special occasion. Is this a picnic? Are we at a picnic?", haha. But surprisingly, they both ate! :)
Henry moving all of his lawn and baby equipment into the box!
