This past weekend was absolutely beautiful…it reached 70 degrees on Saturday, and was about 66 on Sunday. Unbelievable for the end of November. Not that I am complaining…I would much rather have this weather than the frigid, snowy weather that will no doubt be headed our way soon. But in the meantime, we decided to take advantage of this amazing weather and head to the beach!
Here are some pictures of the kids at the inlet on Saturday…
Charlotte taking Henry’s hand so they can run down to the water…too cute
Henry on the move
Daddy built the kid a hole to play in
Charlotte was giving Henry kisses and saying “I love you Henry”, but he wasn’t too thrilled about it…
He has spotted the birds :)
Gorgeous
Here we go again…getting a glimpse of what our lives are going to be like next summer. Ugh oh.
My big boy
Henry running after birds…his favorite activity!
On Sunday it was equally as beautiful, and so we headed to the OHB and to the gazebo for a game of tag and hide and seek…
Daddy and his kiddies :)
Double trouble!
Henry is trying to keep up with Charlotte (get used to it buddy!)
Charlotte running from the boys
So much fun!
Phew…time to “take a little rest” (that is what Charlotte said)
What are you looking at mom? :)
Such a sweetheart
Henry trying to play hide and seek just like his big sis
Henry was NOT in the mood for a hug, haha
Trying to get out of Charlotte’s death grip…
…and running to mommy for protection :)
Charlotte wanted Daddy to “fix” the tree (i.e., the humongous dead branch on the ground)
So Daddy made it grow!
Unfortunately, he couldn’t stand there holding it forever…Charlotte wasn’t happy that it fell again!
So, as you can see, we definitely took advantage of the unseasonably warm temperatures and got in a lot of outside play time! Can’t believe I have to get my Christmas decorations out this week and start shopping…time to get in the holiday spirit! Love this time of year :)
Xoxoxo
