Mother's Day Tea

Charlotte's class had a little show for us the Friday before Mother's Day, where they sang songs and recited poems...then we had muffins and iced tea, and saw all of the artwork they made for us. Charlotte had been practicing at home for weeks, so I had a little preview, but it was adorable :)

Here are some pics/videos...

My little love...so excited! She told me that morning that she had "butterflies in her belly" :)

Charlotte was Star of the Week, and there are only 25 kids in the class, so she got to start and finish the alphabet...

My little star!

You are my sunshine :)

Too cute haha

All of those Spanish classes are paying off haha

This is one that Charlotte had been repeating at home quite often! :)

And this is one of my favorites, because I love how the kids love the "driving you out of your mind" part haha

Here are some pics of my goodies!

Charlotte's portrait of me haha...love the bun and green shirt :)

And my "adjective flower"...such a lucky mommy! :)

After the show, I signed Charlotte out of school and we went into the city with Mamie for what Charlotte was excitedly calling our "girls' weekend"...we had a wonderful time, but I will do separate blog post about that soon! :)

Xoxoxo
