(Almost) Fall Days in Hampton Bays

Charlotte has soccer every weekend now, and so when we found out she had off last weekend for the Jewish holidays, we decided to head out to HB and take advantage of our favorite time of year out there!

Of course we went straight to the beach!  It was a little cool--probably 60's--and a bit windy, but an absolutely spectacular day.

Happy girl!

I mean, this doesn't even look real!  Isn't it unbelievable how beautiful this is?!

Of course he finds the crabs!  Never fails.  Gross :)

The next day we went fishing on Poppy's boat.  Henry had been asking for weeks to go on the boat, so we were all happy to oblige :)  Of course mommy was catching fish left and right!  Here is a big, fat fluke I caught that was flopping around all over the place!

Posing with my catch.  I wouldn't hold this one because he was way too squirmy (and alive) for my liking :)

Thank goodness Jon was there to hold the fish upside down haha

All bundled up…it was a little windy

Fishing is exhausting!  Henry made himself comfortable :)

Fun times!  Love September out east.  Favorite time of year! :)
