Today we received a thank you card from one of Charlotte's teachers, and it was so sweet…I know they HAVE to write thank you cards to everyone who gives them end of the year gifts, but I think Mrs. Brennan went above and beyond! Look at how long it was...
(and she wrote on the back too!)
Since it is impossible to read from the picture, I wanted to share her cute note:
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Rocafort and Charlotte,
Thank you so much for the beautiful beach bag, towel and sunscreen…I am all set for the beach! What and generous and thoughtful gift! And thank you for the Amazon gift card; I will be sure to put it to good use! And Charlotte, the picture you drew was awesome--you are an amazing little artist!
It has been an absolute joy having Charlotte in our class this year. She has matured so much, both academically and socially, and I am so proud of all of her accomplishments. I will miss Charlotte's beautiful smile, her sweet and bubbly personality, her giggle that made us all laugh, her kindness and caring towards her classmates, and her funny stories about Henry! It is obvious that Charlotte is blessed with two very warm and loving parents. Thank you for sharing your delightful daughter with me this year. Charlotte is a precious and special little girl who has a very bright future ahead! Have a happy and fun summer!
Good luck in kindergarten Charlotte!
With lots and lots of love,
Mrs. Brennan
Isn't that sweet? My favorite part is that she is kind and caring to her classmates…I always tell Charlotte that my favorite part of her is her heart, because she is such a big-hearted, sweet person. On the last day of school, another mom actually pulled me aside during pick-up and told me that at drop off, her daughter Regan was crying and didn't want to go into the classroom. She said that Charlotte saw Regan was upset, walked outside into the hall, gave Regan a hug, and said, "you have to come to school, because if you don't I will miss you too much!". And she took Regan's hand, and said, "let's go play", and Regan stopped crying and walked right in. Melts my heart, that little girl of ours :)
And she included this silly little picture of our goose :)
Xoxoxo
