Weekend Recap

We had a nice long weekend…it had been a long time since everyone was healthy, and we took advantage of it! :)  Saturday we went to Long Beach, where the kids played on the playground for a bit.  Then Mike, Kim, Sydney and Abigail came over that night for a play date and dinner.  Charlotte and Sydney got along so well, and had such a blast.  And little Abigail loved Charlotte…she never took the smile off of her face, and would laugh hysterically every time Charlotte went over to her carseat.  Henry became Mr. Personality…he kept on walking over to everyone and saying "tickatickaticka" and attempting to tickle their stomachs, haha.  Not only have I never seen him tickle someone else, but I had no idea he could say that!  He even did it to Mike, Kim and the baby…too cute :)

On Sunday, Grandma came to visit…she even brought bagels, which were a big hit with the kids! :)  They had lots of fun playing with her, and we mostly stayed in for the day.  On Monday, we took a family trip to the park down the street, where we got to once again witness Henry's daredevil skills (i.e., he only goes down the slide headfirst at an alarming rate of speed!).  Charlotte's friend from school was there, and we ran into my friend's kids as well, so there were lots of little playmates for Charlotte & Henry, and everyone had a great time.

That was about it.  Nothing too exciting, but certainly nice to be out and about with everyone feeling well, and nice to have Jon home for an extended weekend (although I think he was pretty exhausted by last night and ready to go back to work today, haha)!
