So, just to add a little more excitement to our lives, Charlotte came home from school on Thursday crying about a terrible headache and sore throat. By that night, she had a fever and just felt super lousy. Thank goodness she had a snow day on Friday, because she would've had to miss school--again!!! Never a dull moment. Have I mentioned how much I hate winter!? :(
In a case of unfortunate timing, she missed her last Time to Shine practice on Thursday night, but her show was today and she was determined to make it. Jon walking around saying "the show must go on!" every 30 seconds might have influenced her decision haha.
Anyway, she did make it on stage, and she was super cute and amazing--not that we are biased at all! :)
But before I include all of the show pics/videos, a very funny Henry story...the teacher invited all of the little kids, siblings, etc. to come up front close to the stage. Surprisingly, Henry wanted to go--kind of unlike him, but his friend Sean from school was there and so I think he was feeling brave haha. So the teacher was telling the kids that they had to clap for the performers, and was trying to buy some time because they still waiting for one more actor. She asked what team everyone was rooting for in the super bowl tomorrow, and Henry yells out "the Mets!" Haha. We were hysterical.
(And proving just what a loyal Mets fan he is, later on over dinner we asked him what sport the Mets play, and he said "football"--mind you, he's been to 3 Mets Games! God help us haha).
Anyway, back to the show...here are some pictures and videos of our Little Red Riding Hood!!!
