Last Thursday, Charlotte & Henry were playing with pillows on the window seat...Henry pulled his pillow, and Charlotte came down with it--falling right on her arm/wrist. On Friday, she complained a lot, and it happened to be field day...she half-heartedly participated, and then told me she had to go home. I thought her "pain" was largely for my benefit (I kind of still do). But her complaining contined all weekend...incessantly...so I wanted to take her to an orthopedist to make sure. He said breaks in the area where she's complaining of pain don't usually show up in children's X-rays, so he examines and splints the kids and then they come back 10-14 days after the injury. If he can see bone growth/regeneration, it was broken. If not, probably just a sprain or something. I'm thinking (and hoping!!!) it is the latter, because we are all over the splint already!!! :)
