Charlotte had her gymnastics show yesterday, and we all went to see her...she was so excited and nervous all weekend, and woke up at 6am the morning of the show because she "couldn't sleep because of the butterflies" (made for a long day when she was asking every 5 minutes when the show was starting haha).
I have a lot of videos and pictures...she was just so CUTE I couldn't stand it. For the first minute or so after she marched out, I could see her scanning the crowd for us, but she couldn't find us, and the look on her face was absolutely heartbreaking...we were right in the front, waving and calling her name like fools, but she just kept looking around with a fake smile on her face and couldn't see us. She told me after that she thought we weren't there to see her...ugh, a dagger through my heart!
One of the funniest moments was when Eloise recognized Charlotte...she started absolutely screaming for her and just was moving her body like "take me to her right now...I want to be with her!!!". She was relentless haha. Charlotte even heard her (over the music and all of the cheers), and looked at us and giggled.
