Today is Mamie's 58th birthday…we are actually here in HB because we just got back from vacation last night, so we were lucky enough to celebrate with her. Since we were originally planning to leave this afternoon, and because Mamie and Poppy had dinner plans this evening, we had Mamie's birthday cake after lunch (my mom will make any excuse for dessert early in the day, haha).

And Charlotte even gifted Mamie with the finest toys she could find in the toy box and throw into a gift bag…such a thoughtful little girl, doing everything at the last minute just like her daddy :)
Anyway, last year I got in trouble for saying that she was "rapidly approaching 60", so let's just say "60 is right around the bend now!", haha. We love you Mamie, and hope you had a wonderful birthday.
