On the 15th we were released…it was a disgusting, rainy day so we had to get Eloise all bundled up! My parents had Charlotte & Henry out at their house, so we were able to get settled in a little bit before the craziness descended haha
She loved her outfit :)
Peanut
Home sweet home!
We decided to try the rock & play and swaddle our first night home…we were up every 30 minutes all night long. She only wanted to sleep on us! :(
We even tried to unswaddle her at one point…to no avail
We went to see Dr. McCarthy the day after we were released…Eloise was still a little bit jaundiced and only weighed 6 lbs 7 oz, so the ped told us she needed to do some sunbathing ha.
Newborn cuddles…nothing sweeter!
Jon said, "I think she is actually smaller than Charlotte's toy dolls"…not quite, but close! :)
AND…the kiddies came home!!!! Stretches for Mamie haha
And this is pretty much where Charlotte wants her 24/7
Eloise as the main attraction!
Henry said she was "kicking him in the nose" haha
Just trying to get a good seat to see all of the action!
Charlotte wanted me to put her in her crib for a minute (even though it will likely be months before she actually sleeps there!)
And…back to Charlotte's lap!
Looking at her big sister :)
Barking up the wrong tree there, Eloise!!! Haha
Fat cheeks
She really loves her rainforest…can't you tell!?
I have to say…coming home with Eloise was a thousand times better than when we came home with Henry when Charlotte had coxsackie and we had to keep them quarantined for the first week. That was so awful. It was so nice for the kids to be home together for our family days. So blessed. Tired, but very happy :)
Xoxoxo
