….I was feeling my first contraction at our apartment, and knew we were finally going to meet our baby girl soon (well, not too soon, unfortunately for me). This was also right around the time (mid-contractions) that Jon asked me if we should "go in" and try to get some sleep…my response was, "I don't know about you, but I am going to have a baby tonight!". It wasn't exactly that night, but 16 hours later we had the most amazing, wonderful little girl in the whole wide world. I cannot for the life of me comprehend how she is turning 5 tomorrow…we just can't imagine life without her. She has brought more love and joy into our life than we ever could've imagined in our wildest dreams.
Somehow, in the blink of an eye, she has gone from this...

Phew, that gives me a quiver lip, as Jon would say. Afraid that in another blink of an eye she is going to be off to college :(
