Valentine's Day is kind of a big deal with the kiddies…they always have a big party at school and bring in Valentines for their classmates. And it is fun, so we go big at home too :)
Here are the Valentine's Charlotte and I made for her friends…I wrote out the hearts, and taped the lollipop, but it was her responsibility to write her name and put the hearts on the page. To say that it took a VERY long time would be an understatement, haha. Thank goodness I didn't try to undertake something like this with Henry--we went with store-bought Valentines and a few Hershey kisses for his class :)
Here are the kids' Valentine's Day goodies :)
Complete with heart plates for breakfast!
Of course they just wanted to tear into their presents…not all that interested in eating :)
Modeling her "perfect" Valentine's Day outfit!
Cutie pie
Such a ham
I also made red velvet cupcakes with pink icing and heart sprinkles…yum!
They were a big hit!
I also attempted brownie cake pops…they aren't as easy to make as they look! Not sure I would do it again haha.
Cuddling with my littlest Valentine :)
Something isn't right Henry!
Silly boy sitting in Charlotte's baby's seat
And we even got to play outside for a bit in the afternoon!
So, all in all, we had a fun Valentine's Day! Love spending a day meant to celebrate LOVE with my family :)
Xoxoxo
