Only a few months behind :)

Okay, I am still a month and a half behind with the pictures, but I will keep at it…soon I will even get to our Christmas pics, haha.  Here goes! :)

The weekend before Christmas, we decided to take an impromptu trip into the city to see the tree…unfortunately, it was an overcast/rainy day, but we still had fun!  Kids weren't all that impressed with the tree, however.

It proved impossible to get a good picture of any of us this day…but not for lack of trying!

You can see how well the kids listen when I say, "look at mommy guys!".  Haha

My turn!

Checking out the ice skaters

Image 7

One of the highlights of Henry's day…"crane!!! crane!!! Mommy, crane! Daddy, crane!".  Too funny

Image 9

I THOUGHT this would be the favorite part of Charlotte's day, but I was sorely mistaken!  We had been to Build-A-Bear when she was 2 (I was pregnant with Henry), and she loved it.  But this time, we walked in, she took a look around, and said she wanted to leave.  Shows how much I know!

Image 10

So we decided to head over to Bryant Park instead...

Image 11

Silly boy :)

Image 12

Another big tree…kids could care less :)

Image 14

Henry was wondering how he could get out there on the ice!

Image 15

But by far, the highlight of the day was chasing pigeons.  Gross.

Image 16

The kids were running all over the place!  Good thing they have bright jackets so Jon and I could find our kids in the pack :)

Image 17

Charlotte was excited to see Uncle Ray...

Image 18

Going for quite the ride :)

Image 19

But then she was off again! :)

Image 20

And then Henry ran up screaming, "Uncle! Uncle! Hi!".  He had his ride...

Image 21

…and then he was off too :)

Image 22

Finally, I got a hold of my little girl :)

Image 23

Just in time for the rain to start!  Didn't stop them :)

Posing in front of the tree

Image 25

To get out of the rain, we went to lunch at the Bryant Park Grill.  Of course, I wanted the elusive picture of me and the kids…it will NEVER happen.

Image 26

NEVER.  Henry looks like he is ready to get in a fight here!

Image 28

The city makes Henry sleepy :)

One of Buddy's hiding spots (Note:  Jon hid him here, which meant I couldn't use the light all day.  Good thinking, haha.  I only turned it on for the picture!)

Sweetness

Image 31

It was an exciting day when the mason showed up with the tractors and trucks for our patio.  Needless to say, Henry was occupied for the day.

Watching the men work!

Image 36

Finally, some progress!!!!  Jon refers to this as the "11 month patio", because for a while, we were convinced it wouldn't be done for that long.  So many headaches.  Ugh.

Image 37

Beginning to resemble an actual patio...

Another one of Buddy's hiding spots :)

Image 35

Charlotte did my hair…you like?  Haha.  And don't mind the fact that I have no make-up on either!  Scary mommy.

Image 38

My poor Henry wasn't feeling well again…stupid cough.

Since we had been housebound for a few days because the kids weren't feeling well, I finally took the kids out for pizza.  Henry was hysterical at the pizza place, blowing kisses to all of the patrons and talking a blue streak to anyone who would listen.  As we were leaving, he went over to the booth next to ours, bent down, and started petting the woman's furry boots saying, "pretty boots, pretty boots".  Then pointed to his own shoes, and said, "like Henny's shoes?".  Haha.  So embarrassing.  Then he said "bye Uncle!" and blew her a kiss.

After pizza, we walked over to Carvel.  The kids were so excited.  As we were ordering, a young couple walked in…Henry ran down the aisle and hugged the young guy around his legs, saying "ice pine pine", "ice pine pine" (ice cream…don't ask), and calling him "uncle".  I felt sorry for the kid…he was probably 20 years old, and didn't know what to do, but he was really sweet.  I kept on apologizing, and his girlfriend almost couldn't stand up she was laughing so hard.  The kid was just patting Henry's head saying, "okay little buddy".  Haha.  Here they are finally calm and eating their dessert.

Image 42

Happy girl!

Image 43

And this was perfect for Henry because he was able to eat his ice cream AND watch the cars/trucks go by…doesn't get much better than that!

Image 44

Buddy got in trouble for breaking the gingerbread house, haha

Image 45

Notice Henry's tongue, haha.  I guess he figured that is how Cas kisses, so when in Rome…. :)

Okay, maybe I will even get to our Christmas photos this week!  So exciting in February. Haha.

Xoxoxo
