Amazing Weekend

The weather was gorgeous this past weekend…it really felt like summer!  We spent as much time as possible outside with the kids…Jon even broke out the sprinkler so the kids could play in the backyard.  It felt a little bit like something people in landlocked states do, haha, but it was fun.  Henry liked playing in the sprinkler the first time he did it (when Charlotte and I weren't there), but was much more hesitant on Sunday.  And we were just happy Charlotte went anywhere near the water, as she still HATES to get any water in her face (to say that she loses her mind is an understatement!).  Here are some pictures and videos of our sprinkler fun :)

Henry trying to decide if he wants to go in! :)

Charlotte is thinking about it :)

They are much braver when they are together!

Our little girl actually got wet, haha.   Baby steps :)

Who would've thought that Charlotte would be the brave one?!  Haha.  If you call running around the sprinkler "brave", of course :)

Here comes Henry (kind of)!

Everyone in! :)

I don't have very high hopes for swimming in the pool this summer, haha.

Over the weekend, Charlotte and I also took a trip to Home Depot to run some errands.  As usual, Charlotte told me she had to go to the bathroom, which never ever happens when we are out…except when we are at Home Depot.  And it is because the bathroom is right next to the employee cafeteria, and Charlotte is fascinated by that room for some strange reason.  As we were walking back from the bathroom, she told me that she "dreams of working" at Home Depot when she grows up, so she can go in that lunch room too, haha.  Setting the bar…. :)

Also, when we arrived, this is what was in the parking lot…lots and lots of swing sets.

She assumed that is why we came to Home Depot, and couldn't believe that I wasn't going to buy it for her…maybe next time, haha.  That looks like a project for daddy and Poppy :)

Xoxoxo
