Mama

It is completely incomprehensible to me that it has been a year since Mama passed away...just really unbelievable. Charlotte said to me the other day, "I am really really really lucky", and I asked her "why?"...she said, "because I got to have 3 of the best grandmothers in the world--Mama, Mamie and Grandma!". And she's right (needless to say, if she ever met Mamie #1, it would be 4 of the best grandmothers in the world)--we really are so blessed.

The last words Mama ever said to me were "you have no idea how much joy you and your family have brought me, and I love you all very much". We were so lucky to have Mama as long as we did, and I'm thankful every day that my children were able to know her.

It is crazy that Mama has been gone for so long, and she is so very missed, but we were blessed to have such a wonderful grandmother and I know she's been watching over us this past year.
