Since I am waiting for an oil change--which turned into a battery replacement since mine apparently exploded--I figured that I would update the blog a bit! So here's a little recap of our December...
I clearly wasn't paying enough attention to Charlotte. My favorite part is "can you look fowered to doing this?" Haha.
Cutie pie waiting for the bus
All bundled up on a yucky day
Since school started, we had a great little routine--we would walk Charlotte to school, and then Eloise and I would go walking for an hour or so. When mommy was done exercising, I would take her out of the stroller and we would walk up and down our block as many times as her little legs could handle! Clearly, she wasn't going to let a little rain put a damper on our routine :)
Baby Abby doesn't even get covered up haha
It was raining so hard that I grabbed Jon's baseball hat...Eloise was hysterical, pointing and laughing at me :)
Such a cute preggo haha
A little too close for comfort!
Posing with Buddy
I went to work at Henry's holiday boutique, where he was able to pick out gifts for his siblings, parents and grandparents (and himself, of course!). Let's just say grandma should thank me, or else she might have ended up with the whoopee (sp?) cushion that he wanted to get her haha
This one has been climbing like a monkey recently---not sure what's gotten into her!
Another day, another walk!
This makes me laugh every time I see it. The drawing, just priceless. And I think Henry has realized that, in catholic school, any answer about praying or God is ALWAYS correct :)
Oh, the attitude on this one!!! She is quite a handful!
She loves this little driveway curb...I think she feels like she is cliff jumping or something haha. She does it over and over and over!
"What's taking so long Mommy?! Let's go!!!"
When the big kids are away...Eloise tries to drive their cars :)
Silly boy
She is supposed to be apologizing for hitting and pinching her brother...oy
We really lucked out with the amazing weather this month--can't believe we were outside almost every single day in December!!!
Trespassing :)
Her favorite holiday decorations
Henry came downstairs dressed like this one night haha
We all got a low grade stomach virus, which thankfully didn't involve any vomiting, just a fever and stomach pains for 48 hours. Unfortunately for me, I had to go pick Henry up from school when I was in the middle of my highlights--ahhh! But so thankful it was as mild as it was. Poor Henry :(
Meanwhile, nothing slows this one down!!! Hiding behind the couch...
Henry & daddy were VERY busy!!!
"No, Eloise!!! Stay AWAY!!!"
Jon & I went to a cocktail party at our friends' house (funny enough, a house we thought about buying!) with 85 people. They split us up into 12 groups to sing "The Twelve Days of Christmas"--it was quite a feat! Here are Jon and Chris representing the 2nd day :)
Henry may or may not have touched Buddy, prompting this letter :)
OCD baby cleaning off her high chair
Sisters...love them :)
Eloise was marching :)
Eloise convincing Charlotte to trespass too haha
Eloise wanted Charlotte to rock her to sleep...she looks as big as Charlotte!!!
Saw this on Facebook and I LOVE it. Just need to read it everyday to remind myself haha
How Henry often wakes up--I often call him "my little peacock!"
After some water and hairspray, he is finally presentable haha
Another rainy day walk...she wasn't so sure how she felt about about the puddles though!
Woohoo :)
She had a 1/2 day because of parent teacher conferences, so she asked to go out to lunch and for a manicure--done little lady! That's what you get when you have a perfect report card and glowing teacher review...so proud :)
All ready for his role as a shepherd in the Christmas pageant (I will save that for another post!)...
She grabbed a hamburger patty off of the counter (cooked, thank god!), and just went to town haha--such a nut!
Still in his costume!! :)
This. Every. Damn. Night (plus crying and whining)
Henry made name placemats, in case anyone forgets where their room is :)
Mmmmmm
She often spills her food on the floor on purpose, and then eats it like a dog. Yes, I let her. Third child :)
Love the hands on all of Henry's people
Henry going for the old standby answer. I swear he uses a derivation of this sentence for most of his projects. And that is apparently Charlotte with the large brown hair haha. I'm the purple one with long legs. Jon looks kind of like a snowman. Henry looks pretty normal. Eloise is teeny tiny. And Cas made it into our picture too :). A masterpiece!!!
At the Golden Pear in Southampton the day after Christmas
On the 26th, we all went to dinner with Dave, Jess & Madison, and then we went to a local bar for a bit (one drink for us, a lot more for my brothers haha!!!). It's always hard to get a picture of the 3 of us, but we tried!
With a flash...I look super surprised!!!
No flash...
Ahh, surprised again!! Haha
Loving their presents from Aunt Jess and Dave!!!
She's not impressed.
My most popular Instagram pictures of 2015!
And that's our December in a nutshell!!! More to come soon :)
Xoxoxo
