Festival of Lights :)

Jon is out tonight, so it's just me with the kids...I told them I would let them stay up "late" (it was 6:45) and play ABC Mouse if they were quiet when I put Eloise to sleep. Charlotte said, "why do we get to stay up late? To celebrate Hanukkah?". Haha, why yes, we are staying up late to celebrate the Jewish holiday. Gotta love public school...maybe soon we can stay up late and celebrate Kwanzaa, because they also learned about that recently :)

Reminds me of the time when Charlotte asked Jon if he was Jewish and Jon said "no". She said "am I Jewish?", Jon again said "no". Henry was listening, raised his hand and said excitedly, "I'm Jewish! I'm Jewish!". He walked around saying that for a few days...too funny :)
