Amazingly, our baby girl started first grade today. She was so excited she even woke up at 5:45am haha...clearly, she was ready! My favorite part of the day was when we were standing in the kitchen...she took my hands in her hands, said "I can't believe I'm starting 1st grade today!", and started jumping up and down. So I started jumping up and down still holding her hands. She started screeching and laughing, so I started screeching and laughing. Like a couple of school girls...such a great moment :)

The kids were all lined up, and they took them in really abruptly with no warning, so I barely had a chance to kiss Charlotte goodbye. But she didn't seem to mind haha, she was on her way right in!
When I picked her up, this is what I saw...such a relief to see her smiling face :)
So, that was Charlotte's big day!
Meanwhile, Henry enjoyed his time with mommy and grandma, and spent the day playing in his pjs (surprise, surprise).
