For the past few weeks, Henry has been tentatively taking 1-2 steps and then falling into the arms of the person waiting for him. But in the last few days, he has really started to make progress…tonight he took 5 steps before falling! Granted, he still walks like a drunken sailor, but he is learning and becoming more confident everyday. He is also able to stand for longer periods of time, and has picked up a few words recently…he has been saying “dadadadada” for quite a while now, but he has just added “mamama”, “moooommm” (both me), and “maaamie” to his repertoire. This is very exciting for me, especially because Charlotte didn’t say “mama” or “mommy”, or anything resembling that, until much later (little stinker). So, at just 11 months and 1 day, he is making great progress :)
