You would have to be living under a rock to have missed the fanfare surrounding the Royal Wedding on Friday, April 29th. It was on television non-stop, and Charlotte was just eating it up. She kept on asking me to watch the “princess show”, and loved the dresses, horses, carriage, everything…to her, it was just a fairytale come true! And I’m not going to lie; I liked watching the footage too :)
Oh, and in case you are curious as to how this fairytale ends, Charlotte has her own theory…she told me “they are going to have a baby, and she is going to come to my house. We are going to be friends, and I will show her how to play with babies.” She then followed that up by looking at me and saying, “that sound like a good idea?!”, in typical Charlotte fashion. So, apparently the future daughter of William and Kate is going to be hanging out in Rockville Centre and playing babies—I’m not going to be the one to break it to her, haha. It can be her own little fairytale :)
