Weekend Happenings

Last night I took Charlotte and her BFF Clare to see the high school's performance of Glee. We had an aisle seat, and it wasn't long before the girls were dancing in the aisle...too cute :)

Today we didn't do anything too exciting, but I just feel like the days get away from us...Charlotte had Clare's bday party this am, and then her last soccer game EVER (she's made it clear that she isn't playing next year). I made cupcakes for the girls, and they got medals...very fun.

Jon took the kids to ride their bikes to the park after soccer, and I took Eloise for a walk. Jon ran to the store afterward, and the kids and I were locked out of the house for a bit...apparently we needed our sidewalk and grass raked :)

It's about time they start earning their keep haha

Eloise is still giving us a run for our money...today is day 2 of the new medicine (Prevacid), but we aren't seeing any difference yet. She actually took a super long nap today (3 hrs--very unusual for her), but cried ALL afternoon. Strangely, in the midst of the insanity, Henry looked at me and said "I hold the baby?" (maybe he wanted to take matters into his own hands and try to quiet her haha). Side note: It's funny because he rarely calls her by her name, it's always "the baby" :)

Anyway, I love how happy he looks even though she is screaming bloody murder...classic.

I hate that I haven't been able to update the blog very often...fingers crossed that things will start to settle down and Eloise will start to nap/sleep more regularly!
