I know, I know…I've been very bad at updating the blog (and the few people who actually read the blog have made sure I know that they don't appreciate it, haha). But between the kitchen renovation, packing, sick kids, a trip to Bermuda, weddings, etc. etc…I've been busy :) But I am going to try to go back and upload all of my pictures in the next few days (maybe).
I am going to start with our mommy & daddy night out to celebrate Dave's 30th birthday!
Dave and Jess were clearly enjoying the birthday festivities!
With the birthday boy…even though he lent me his hat, haha
Our prom pose :)
Me & my Jessica
Just the girls! Fun night :)
I try to be understanding about most of Charlotte's outfits, but this just hurt my eyeballs haha. It is a bathing suit top, and it is probably size 9 months, so her entire lower stomach hangs out (like a trashy pregnant woman). And then she went with the navy/white stripe leggings. Hysterical :)
Holding Honey's new puppy…so excited
Someone is ready for Halloween!
Fun with Uncle Ray
They all look really calm, haha
Sweet
Best seat in the house!
Of course Charlotte couldn't let Henry have all of the fun :)
Too cute
Tackling Uncle Ray
I had to go wait at the house for our appliances to be delivered one day, and Charlotte had coxsackie, so I brought her with me thinking it would be smart to keep her away from Henry…we actually had a fun girls' only day :) Here we are in her room, tripping over furniture and costumes and curtains, haha. Good times.
Of course we had about 6,000 outfit changes!
And we also had a pizza party! We couldn't eat at the pizza place, because we didn't want to miss the delivery, but Charlotte wanted to do something "special"…so we had a pizza party in the car, and she got to sit in the front seat. Clearly, it is the little things that make her happy :)
And conveniently, her throat really started to hurt later in the day, and she suggested we get some ice cream to "soothe" her throat…she totally played me :)
Jon and I took the kids to the beach a few days later, and Henry had a ball playing with his truck on the pavilion!
So lucky to live so close to this :)
Charlotte getting in on the fun! Henry would push the truck, and she was there to retrieve it
Then they reversed roles, which gave Charlotte enough time to pose haha
Such a little ham :)
Lucky kiddies
A new challenge
Success!!!
Lunch date at Panera
Playing hide and seek in Mamie & Poppy's island
Such a little rascal :)
He had to take a break to mow the lawn…I mean, the rocks :)
Game resumed…not such a great hiding spot, Charlotte!
And Poppy let us go in his "BIIIIGGGG mow mow truck", which I think might have been the highlight of Henry's life. And based on these pictures, I think Charlotte had a pretty good time too :)
P.S.--you can see that she picked out another horrifying outfit, haha!
Our little driver!
Apparently, Henry was worn out after all of the excitement of the day…doesn't look all that comfortable though! :)
Xoxoxo
